5 Quick Search Engine Optimization Analyses for WordPress

  1. In a perfect world content should come first, header 2nd, sidebar 3rd and footer on the end.
  2. JavaScript (except jQuery) would need to be in footer area.
  3. No H2 or any other headings in sidebar titles, there should be no importance to that area. <span> will be more that all right, if absolutely needed H3 and bellow is fine.
  4. Theme speed is very important  make sure that it loads fast, this part is the easiest to improve.
  5. Markup Validation a/k/a clean and proper code does help you maintain quality website.

    Can’t agree more with you however not many sites actually validate at all. Is that really that important?

    purchased a theme while back that looked great but the codes were all over the place and did all this and beyond by myself over the weekend.
